Artwork Guidelines

Our recommendations for enhancing your box design and artwork.

Color Mode

For accurate printing results, artwork should be designed in CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) or Pantone spot colors, depending on the printing requirements.

The RGB (Red, Green, and Blue) color mode is primarily used for digital screens and may not produce the same results in print. Therefore, it is essential to convert your artwork to the appropriate color mode to ensure consistent and precise color reproduction.

Fonts and Text

If a font appears difficult to read on your screen, you can zoom in for better visibility. However, this adjustment does not apply to printed materials. Once printed, the text size cannot be changed, so it’s important to select an appropriate font size from the start.

We recommend using a font size of at least 9pt or larger to ensure clear readability in print.

Additionally, decorative or intricate fonts—such as cursive styles—may not reproduce as clearly on packaging as they appear on screen.

Resolution

To achieve high-quality print results, all artwork should have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch).

Using lower resolution images can lead to pixelation, blurriness, and loss of detail, which may affect the overall appearance of your printed packaging. Ensuring the correct resolution helps maintain sharp, crisp, and professional-quality prints.

File Formats

Artwork files should be submitted in high-resolution, print-ready formats such as PDF, TIFF, or EPS. These formats help preserve the quality, clarity, and integrity of your design throughout the printing process.

If your artwork includes photographs or other non-vector elements, you may also provide files in JPEG or PNG format, ensuring they are set to a minimum resolution of 300 DPI.
